What is it about Boston Legal that makes it special?
This question might seem a bit odd, but seeing an episode again for the first time in probably 2 years, it really struck me how special this series is.
The cultural and political issues that get tackled are somewhat dated now, but its portrayal of the complexity of right and wrong while tackling those issues makes the specific issue almost irrelevant. Not to the case, clearly, but to how things can be tackled from many different angles, and what’s right and what’s wrong will very nearly always depend on where you stand .
I’m not entirely sure what the point of writing this is, but I guess it’s something (and gets me in the habit of writing something more frequently)
I haven’t seen any other of David Kelley’s shows, but I’ll have to go back and have a look at some of them.
